When triggers are left un-healed they create emotional instability and you never know when someone is going to say or do that thing that disrupts your inners state.

When you have learned to master the steps of how to take heal and release your emotional triggers, you become free.

You no longer depend on other people to act a certain way so that you may feel safe. You cultivate unshakable ground within. The first step is to become intimately connected to, and aware of, your breath and the energy field of your body. Most people do one of three things when feeling emotionally triggered:

  • Lash out at that other person. Change! Now! So I don’t have to feel this way.

  • Numb out. Cocktails, food, electronics, porn…whatever it takes not to feel what’s really going on inside

  • Check out. Shutting down, walking out Disass0ciating from the vibrations stirred up inside.

There is another way. It’s born out of self-love and a willingness to be present. The first meditation in the line-up below is key to doing the inside work of healing your emotional triggers.
