You don't have to allow the actions of others to determine your inner state. When you address emotional reactivity at its root, in the energy field of your body, you become fully present and can choose not to react whether by lashing out, numbing out, or checking out.

The pattern of emotional dependency causes extreme stress and fear whenever the ‘other’ is not complying with our demands. Emotional dependency is the most common cause of addiction and chronic stress.

Working with Maria will teach you how to recourse from within. At your core you, and all of us, are connected to Divine Source. When we learn to align ourselves with or true nature, we will gradually lose interest in looking to others reluctant others to meet our emotional needs.

Your emotional triggers show up in a very physical way. When another person does or says that triggering something; you immediately feel a pit in your stomach, shallow breathing, tightness in the chest. You are in a state of fight and flight that may not be in proportion to what is actually happening. It’s often accompanied by a sense of shame and disempowerment that you can’t seem calm yourself.

Without understanding what is really going on in your energy body, it is very easy to assume that the only way you will feel better if is the other person' complies with your demand — but more often than not, you are in a dynamic with that very someone who definitely doesn't want to comply with your demands.

Healing your emotional triggers is an inside job. The other person is merely pointing to where your inner work lies.
