Make Your Space Sacred
Clean and Clear Your Space with Love
Not in that boring, ugh, I have to clean my house way—but with love. I start small. The way I might lovingly care for a plant, carefully apply color to a painting, or gently brush a child's hair.
Start with One Corner
Imbue it with your presence, your full attention and care. Move things aside, clean underneath, and decide what truly belongs. Maybe it’s time to let some things go—items that have outlived their purpose, no longer contributing beauty or function to your space.
When I clean and organize, my space starts to sparkle with my Spirit energy. Clutter is stagnant and heavy. Could you break it up?
The Energy of an Organized Space
Do you find yourself drawn back to admire a freshly organized corner? It feels good, doesn’t it? Alive and bright, like you’ve spiritualized a small part of your domain.
Make It Manageable
Cleaning can overwhelm me, so I divide my space into sections.
The space to the left of the sink—just that. Could you make it perfect? Clear, clean, organized. Feel that.
Then I scrub my sink. So nice. Maybe that’s all I do today. Or perhaps the space to the right of the sink deserves a little sparkle too.
Whatever I do, it makes me feel better. It inspires me to do more. Momentum builds.
Let the Light In
I might polish a single window. Just one. See how much more Light pours in? How much brighter it feels?
A home becomes a welcoming sanctuary when infused with intention and Spirit’s presence. The simple acts of scrubbing, polishing, and wiping ground me deeply into the moment. I choose to let it be an act of love.
Even if no one else sees the sparkly results, I do it for myself—for love and gratitude for my home.
Spirit Moves Through Me
It feels as if I’m pulling Spirit in, through me, and into the world. And in return, I feel more sparkly and clear as well.
And Yes… I’m Wearing a Tea Cozy
If you’ve read this far, you may be wondering: What am I wearing on my head?
A tea cozy. Yes, the kind that fits over a teapot to keep it warm. This particular one is from the 1970s, from my childhood home. On cold mornings, we’d stick it on our heads to warm our ears.
And in this moment—cleaning, clearing, and cozying up—I feel just right.
